Home Inspections
If you’re purchasing a home, our standard home inspection is one of the most important steps in the process. Buying a house is a huge investment—possibly the biggest one you’ll ever make—and a detailed inspection can uncover problems that aren’t visible to the untrained eye. We provide a top-to-bottom evaluation of the entire property, including:
-
Structural components (foundation, framing, walls, ceilings, roof)
-
HVAC systems
-
Electrical panels and wiring
-
Plumbing and fixtures
-
Roof and attic
-
Insulation and ventilation
-
Windows, doors, and exterior finishes
-
Interior finishes and built-in appliances
We go beyond the surface. Thanks to Brandon’s 15+ years of trade experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, and mold remediation, you’re getting more than a checklist—you’re getting deep insight into how well the home actually functions.

Mold Inspections & Testing
Mold isn’t always visible—but it can impact your health and your home’s value in major ways. At Well Built Inspections, we specialize in mold inspections and testing using proven methods and certified knowledge and experience. With a love of building science and education from NORMI and Indoor Sciences and experience in the mold remediation industry, Brandon is trained to evaluate indoor air quality and moisture intrusion sources throughout the home.
We use advanced tools such as professional moisture meters, humidity meters, thermal imaging, and lab-based air and surface sample testing (when needed) to determine potential mold and moisture issues:
As a homeowner, If you’ve had a roof leak, plumbing issue, musty smells, or recent flooding—or if you’re experiencing health symptoms like allergies or respiratory irritation—we strongly recommend a mold inspection to thoroughly assess the home for indoor air quality issues.
New Construction Inspections
Brand new doesn’t mean perfect. Builders and contractors are working on tight schedules, and even new homes can have issues like improper flashing, missing insulation, loose wiring, or misaligned framing.
Our new construction inspections are designed to catch these problems before they become major headaches. We inspect the home thoroughly to ensure it meets both current building standards and your expectations as a buyer.
We evaluate workmanship, materials, safety, and manufacturer’s installation guidelines—so you can move in knowing the home is not only beautiful, but built to last.
11-Month Warranty Inspections
If your home is newly built and still under a 12-month builder warranty, don’t let that deadline pass without getting it inspected. Our 11-month warranty inspections are specifically designed for homeowners in the final month of their builder’s warranty coverage.
With a comprehensive report in hand, you can submit a formal request to your builder to fix these items before the warranty expires—potentially saving you thousands in future repairs.
Phase 1 Infrared Included with Every Inspection
Every full inspection from Well Built Inspections includes a Phase 1 infrared thermal scan—at no extra charge. This advanced technology allows us to detect issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye, including:
-
Hidden water intrusion behind walls or ceilings
-
Poor insulation and energy inefficiencies
-
Overheating electrical components
-
Roof leaks or attic moisture
-
HVAC distribution problems
Thermal imaging helps us see beyond the surface, giving you a more complete picture of the home’s condition. And because Brandon is a Snell Level 1 Certified Thermographer, you can trust the interpretation of those images is accurate and reliable.
WDI (Termite) Inspections Included with Every Inspection
Termites and other wood-destroying insects (WDI) can cause severe structural damage if left unchecked. That’s why every full home inspection includes a WDI inspection at no additional cost. We inspect for:
-
Live termite activity
-
Visible signs of past damage
-
Conditions conducive to future infestations (moisture, wood-to-soil contact, etc.)
-
Carpenter ants, powderpost beetles, and other damaging pests
Our WDI inspections meet the standards required for real estate transactions and include documentation you can share with lenders or agents if needed. Protecting your home means understanding what’s eating away at it—literally.
